PICK-UP OF EQUIPMENT AND SEASON PASS
The equipment and season pass must be collected from the Laajis rental shop.
The season pass will be loaded onto a separate KeyCard (price €7), and a photo of the skier will be taken.
You may bring your own KeyCard or purchase one when collecting the equipment.
A parent or guardian must present a valid photo ID when picking up the equipment.
Without proper identification, equipment will not be issued.
STORAGE OF EQUIPMENT
The renter keeps the equipment for the entire rental period.
Equipment must be stored in a dry and appropriate location.
Laajis offers rental storage spaces for the winter season.
Customers who purchase the Kids’ Ski Package receive a 20% discount on equipment storage for the season.
CONTRACT PERIOD
The contract is valid for the duration of Laajis’ winter season and is billed monthly for five (5) months from the date of purchase.
The contract cannot be cancelled mid-season and cannot be paused.
This is a seasonal product, and no refunds are issued due to weather conditions or changes in the length of the season.
RETURN OF EQUIPMENT
Equipment must be returned no later than 12 April 2026 during Laajis’ opening hours.
All equipment must be returned clean and dry.
The renter may purchase an extension until 11 May 2026 for an additional €30.
For late returns, a fee of €30 per starting month will be charged.
Laajis Oy reserves the right to charge the customer for any equipment that is not returned, lost or stolen, according to the rental shop’s price list.
Equipment not returned by 12 May 2026 will be invoiced.
RENTER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment is handed over serviced, intact, and bindings adjusted according to the child’s weight.
The equipment is intended for the renter’s personal use only throughout the rental period.
The renter is responsible for the equipment and must compensate for any lost or damaged items.
Damage caused by anything other than normal wear and tear or a manufacturer’s defect will be charged based on the rental shop’s price list.
Normal wear and tear includes typical cosmetic marks that do not affect safety or functionality.
Normal wear and tear does NOT include:
broken skis
damaged bindings
cracked or broken edges
The equipment must not be given to another person to use.
All rental equipment is personal.
EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE POLICY
Equipment can be exchanged for a larger size if it becomes too small during the season or if the chosen size feels incorrect — within the limits of:
Equipment packages cannot be switched to another sport.
Exchanges must be done within the chosen discipline (ski → ski, snowboard → snowboard).
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
The renter is responsible for maintaining the equipment during the season.
Laajis offers 20% off equipment servicing for Kids’ Ski Package customers throughout the rental period.
