Welcome to Laajis, Jyväskylä’s caravan site!

Laajis Urban Caravan site lies in only 4km from Jyväskylä city centre. It's easy to get here using bus or by bike. At the caravan site you’ll find over 80 high-quality trailer sites with own electric sockets, limited amount of tent spots and up-to-date facilities with cosy sauna. We also have a communal kitchen with a lounge. Among nearby services you can find everything between breakfast, spa and numerous activities. There is also possibility for laundry room use at the hostel for caravaners.

In case you arrive without a reservation and the front desk is closed, we charge a 10€ call duty allowance and electricity. We recommend you to make a reservation beforehand. .

Jyväskylä
Caravan site is on easy access to come from Jyväskylä center. From Jyväskylä city services and nightlife you get to enjoy easily with local bus nro 25. With bicycle distance to center is under 4km. Palokka shopping center is just few kilometers a way. Every city service is available near. More info about Jyväskylä events and services can be found via VisitJyväskylä homepage.

Kitchen and dining area

At the caravan site service building there is a clean double kitchen and dining room. Facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Service Building

Caravan site's service building is available for caravaners free use 24/7. Gate and doors of service building are opened with keycard, which you get from the reception.

Sauna

During the winter season, only the hostel saunas are available. Every evening women's turn 18-19.30. Men's turn 19.30-21.

Restaurant

Just beside the caravan site services Urban Kitchen -slope restaurant.

Laundry room

There's a laundry room in the facilities of hostel which is in use for caravan guests too. The laundry machine works with 1€ coins (2€/wash).

WC emptying

You can empty your chemical toilet next to the service hall in the caravan area (the well is in use when ground's not frozen).

Rules in
the site

* Silent hours are from 22.00 to 7.00
* Moving on the caravan area and the service building usage is allowed only for residents of the caravan area
* Keep your site clean and take the rubbish to the place they are assigned to
* The speed limit on the caravan area is 20km/h. Please follow the extra caution when driving in the area
* The van must be driven to the appointed site. If you want to change your site, please contact the reception
* Your vehicle and/or the van must fit the appointed site. The length of one spot is 9 meters. We charge extra for usage of more than one site
* Keep the safety distance to other caravans in minimum of 4 meters
* Keycard is returned to reseption or when it's closed to Laajis mailbox. If keycard is not returned, we charge 20€
